Chairman REAP Ali Hussam Asghar met with Chinese Counsel General Lahore H.E Zhao Shiren along with President Lahore Chamber Mian Nauman Kabir. Chairman REAP briefed Excelency on Pak China Rice Trade and requested His Excelency to request Chineese Authorities to speed up registrations of Rice Mills from Pakistan. Chairman REAP requested personal patronage of His Excelency to advocate registrations of maximum Rice Mills from Pakistan and also briefed him on potential of JV’s between Chineese rice firms and Pakistani counterparts particularly in encouraging Technology Transfer Projects. Excelency Zhoa assured to strengthen contact between REAP and Chineese Counslate Lahore and also accepted to visit REAP House Lahore.
