Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP) hosted a Dinner Function in honor of Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi, Governor Sindh, on 30th September 2026 at Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi.
The function was held under the leadership of Mr. Abdul Rahim Janoo (S.I.), Group Chairman, accompanied by Malik Faisal Jahangir, Chairman REAP, and Mr. Muhammad Jawed Jillani, Senior Vice Chairman REAP. The gathering was attended by a large number of REAP Members, and prominent Business Leaders from across Pakistan.
In their addresses, Mr. Abdul Rahim Janoo (S.I.), Malik Faisal Jahangir and Mr. Muhammad Raza, Newly Elected Chairman REAP thanked Hon. Governor Sindh for taking time to attend REAP’s Dinner. They appreciated the business-friendly policies of the Government of Pakistan, expressing confidence that such initiatives will contribute significantly towards enhancing Pakistan’s exports and generating greater foreign exchange for the country.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi thanked REAP and its Leadership for organizing the dinner. He highlighted that young entrepreneurs are an important asset of the country and, noting the enthusiasm and energy of the newly elected REAP Executive Committee, expressed confidence that the future of Pakistan’s rice industry is in capable hands. He emphasized that their dedication and tireless efforts can further strengthen the international standing of Pakistani rice.
The Governor further shared his commitment to promoting Pakistan’s exports and stated that during his official visits abroad, he encourages international buyers to purchase Pakistani rice, highlighting its quality and reputation in international markets.
As a gesture of goodwill and appreciation, REAP’s Office Bearers and Leadership presented a commemorative shield to Hon. Governor Sindh.
