The Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP) successfully held its 28th Annual General Meeting 2026, bringing together a large number of REAP members from across Pakistan in a spirit of unity, collaboration, and commitment to the future of Pakistan’s rice export industry.

 

The AGM featured insightful speeches by Mr. Abdul Rahim Janoo (S.I.), Group Chairman; Malik Faisal Jahangir, Outgoing Chairman REAP; Mr. Muhammad Jawed Jillani, Outgoing Senior Vice Chairman REAP; Mr. Muhammad Raza, Newly Elected Chairman REAP; Mr. Ahsan Saeed, Newly Elected Senior Vice Chairman REAP; and Syed Muhammad Naseem, Newly Elected Vice Chairman REAP.

 

The speeches highlighted key milestones and achievements of the outgoing tenure, with DLTL-related initiatives and efforts discussed by Malik Faisal Jahangir and Mr. Muhammad Jawed Jillani. The newly elected office bearers expressed their optimism and determination to build upon REAP’s achievements and take the Association to new heights of growth, progress, and global competitiveness.

 

As a gesture of goodwill and appreciation, Ajrak was presented to all newly elected Executive Committee Members by Mr. Abdul Rahim Janoo (S.I.), Malik Muhammad Jahangir, Ch. Muhammad Shafique, Ch. Sameeullah Naeem, Mian Sabih ur Rehman, Mr. Rafique Suleman, and other former Chairmen of REAP, symbolizing Sindh’s rich cultural heritage, unity, and the spirit of collective leadership.

 

The Election Results were officially announced by Mr. Wajid Mumtaz Peracha, Member, Election Commission REAP, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the Association.
