REAP delegation led by Mr. Muhammad Jawed Jillani, Acting Chairman REAP, held a meeting with H.E. Fahad Alazemi, Acting Consul General of Kuwait, to discuss ways and means of enhancing Pakistan’s rice exports to Kuwait.
The meeting was also attended by Former Chairman REAP, Mr. Rafique Suleman, Executive Committee Member Mr. Jetendar Kumar Badlani and Syed Tabraizuddin Chishty, Member REAP.
During the meeting, the REAP delegation discussed the potential for increasing the market share of Pakistani rice in Kuwait, highlighting that Pakistani rice exporters have most modern plants and Pakistani rice is highly appreciated and popular among rice buying countries. The delegation emphasized the need for enhanced promotional and marketing activities to further strengthen Pakistan’s position in the Kuwaiti market.
Mr. Rafique Suleman proposed that a REAP delegation comprising leading rice exporters should visit Kuwait under the leadership and guidance of H.E. Fahad Alazemi, with the objective of promoting Pakistani rice, developing business-to-business linkages, and expanding its market share in Kuwait.
Mr. Javed Jillani also extend invitation for Lunch / Dinner to Acting Consul General with REAP’s Executive Committee Members and Leading Rice Exporters as per his convenience.
H.E. Fahad Alazemi appreciated the discussions and assured his full cooperation and support for strengthening trade relations between both the brotherly and friendly countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, REAP Delegation presented Flower Bouquet to H.E. Fahad Alazemi as a gesture of goodwill.
