REAP delegation, led by Mr. Jawed Jillani, Acting Chairman REAP, attended a meeting with the Uzbekistan delegation led by H.E. Mr. Normat Tursunov, Khokim (Governor) of Navoiy Region, today at TDAP Head Office, Karachi. The meeting was also attended by Executive Committee Members, including Mr. Rafique Suleman, Mr. Sheeraz Ahmed Sheikh, Mr. Jitender Kumar Badlani, and Mr. Muhammad Khurram. During the discussions, bilateral trade relations and areas of mutual cooperation were deliberated in detail. Mr. Jawed Jillani thanked Secretary TDAP and Director General TDAP for arranging such interactive session and extended an invitation to H.E. the Ambassador of Uzbekistan for a lunch/dinner with REAP members. He also expressed his interest in visiting Uzbekistan as part of a joint Business Delegation of REAP & TDAP to explore opportunities and enhance the share of Pakistani rice in the Uzbek market. The Uzbekistan delegation welcomed Mr. Jawed Jillani’s initiative to visit Uzbekistan, noting that such engagement would significantly contribute to strengthening trade relations between the two countries.
