A delegation of Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP), led by Senior Vice Chairman Mr. Muhammad Jawed Jillani, met H.E. Muhammad Sakib Sadakat, Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Karachi. The meeting was also attended by REAP Executive Committee Members: Mr. Muhammad Shahid Memon, Mr. Muhammad Khurram, Mr. Sheeraz Ahmed Shaikh, and Mr. Jetendar Kumar Badlani. During the discussions, various issues related to rice exports to Bangladesh and matters of mutual trade interest. H.E. Deputy High Commissioner assured full cooperation to enhance Pakistan’s rice export share in the Bangladeshi market. Additionally, Mr. Jawed Jillani extended an invitation to H.E. Deputy High Commissioner to visit REAP House, Karachi, for an interactive session with REAP members. It was also agreed that visas for Bangladesh to REAP members will be facilitated through REAP’s Recommendation Letter. Further, a REAP Delegation to Bangladesh is also suggested which will visit after the holy month of Ramzan. The session concluded with Mr. Muhammad Jawed Jillani presenting REAP souvenirs to H.E. Deputy High Commissioner, symbolizing goodwill and friendship.
