Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP) hosted a dinner in honour of Prof. Ahsan Iqbal, Honorable Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives. Mr. Athar Hussain Khokhar, Director General, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), and Mr. Ali Zaib, Trade & Investment Officer, UAE, attended the event as Guests of Honour. The dinner was attended by Malik Faisal Jahangir, Chairman REAP, Mr. Mohibullah, Vice Chairman REAP; Mr. Jetendar Kumar Badlani, Executive Committee Member; Mr. Ch. Sameeullah Naeem, Ex-Chairman REAP; Mr. M. Hussain Khandwala, Ex-Executive Committee Member; along with other REAP members and representatives of the business community. During the interaction, constructive discussions were held on strategies to enhance Pakistan’s rice exports in international markets. Participants acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of the Government of Pakistan in facilitating rice exporters through supportive policies and institutional coordination at relevant forums, which has contributed to strengthening the confidence and morale of exporters and the business community.
