Gulfood 2026 Update Prof. Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives visited the stalls of Pakistani rice exporters participating in Gulfood 2026, Dubai, along with his team. Mr. Malik Faisal Jahangir, Chairman, Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP), was also present during the visit. The Federal Minister appreciated the sustained efforts of Pakistani rice exporters in promoting Pakistani rice in international markets. He noted that participation in major global exhibitions such as Gulfood provides valuable opportunities for exporters to expand their outreach, secure new business, and enhance export volumes, thereby contributing positively to the national economy. Prof. Ahsan Iqbal reaffirmed that exporters play a vital role in economic growth and assured that the Government of Pakistan remains committed to facilitating and supporting export-oriented initiatives at all relevant forums.
