A high-level delegation of the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP), led by Mr. Abdul Rahim Janoo, Group Chairman, held an important meeting with the leadership and office bearers of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) today at the KCCI Office, Karachi. The REAP delegation was accompanied by Mr. Mohammedmian Soomro, Ex-President of Pakistan, Ex-Prime Minister, Ex-Chairman Senate and Ex-Federal Minister. The meeting was attended by Mr. M. Zubair Motiwala, Chairman Businessmen Group; Mr. M. Rehan Hanif, President KCCI; Mr. Mohammad Raza, Senior Vice President KCCI; Executive Committee Members of KCCI; Mr. Muhammad Jawed Jillani, Senior Vice Chairman REAP; Mr. Abdul Qayum Paracha, Ex-Chairman REAP; Executive Committee Members of REAP including Mr. Rafique Suleman, Mr. Muhammad Khurram, Mr. Sheeraz Ahmed Sheikh, Mr. Hassab Rauf, Mr. Jetendar Kumar, Mr. M. Shahid Memon, as well as members of both REAP and KCCI. During the interaction, officials from KCCI and REAP exchanged views on areas of mutual interest, discussing opportunities for deeper cooperation—particularly to enhance Pakistan’s rice export sector and contribute more effectively to the country’s economic progress. The meeting concluded with the presentation of souvenirs by KCCI Officials to the REAP Delegation, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony held with prayers for the peace, prosperity, and continued strengthening of Pakistan.
