15/01/2024: On invitation of Mr. Abdul Rahim Janoo, Group Chairman REAP, Mr. Sultan Ahmed Chawla, Chairman Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) along with his Commercial Team visited REAP House Karachi today. Mr. Javed Jillani, SVC REAP, MC Members Mr. Mahesh Kumar Talreja, Mr. RAfique Suleman, Mr. Jetendear Kumar, Mr. Muhammad Khurram as well as large number of leading rice exporters were present during the meeting. Mr. Sultan Chawla, Chairman PNSC thanked REAP team and appreciated efforts of REAP members to achieve $ 3.9 Billion. He seconded the suggestion of Mr. Abdul Rahim Janoo to utilize our National Flag Shipping Company for rice export cargo. He added that approx. $ 300 Million paid by exporters to shipping companies. He assured his full support to REAP members for a win win situation for REAP and PNSC. Mr. Javed Jillani, Senior Vice Chairman REAP informed that recently huge quantity of rice exported to Bangladesh through Bulk Vessel and Bangladesh will procure more rice in coming months and we will be able to secure services of PNSC. REAP’s Shield and Souvenir was presented to Chairman PNSC by Mr. Rahim Janoo, Mr. Javed Jillani, Mr. Mahesh Kumar and MC Members REAP.
