Rice Scientists, Dr. Abid Chaudhry, Geneticist, and Syed Naved Hussain, EXCEO BEXIMCO recently visited the Rice Research Institute in Kala Shah Kaku, fruitful meeting with Sardar Saleem Haider ,Governor Punjab, a recognized center for excellence in agricultural research, as well as the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), to explore advancements in rice cultivation. The visit focused on discussions about transforming traditional rice farming practices through the integration of perennial plant farming. This approach could potentially enhance the sustainability and productivity of rice agriculture by reducing the need for replanting each season and minimizing soil degradation. The scientists, in collaboration with local experts, discussed research and technological innovations that could pave the way for a more resilient and efficient rice production system in Pakistan. These series of meetings led by Malik Faisal Jahangir, Chairman REAP and Special thanks to Pir Syed Nazim Hussain, who arranged a meeting with Governor punjab and special thanks to Mr Ali Hussam asghar to arrange the meeting with Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
