23/10/2024: REAP Delegation led by Malik Faisal Jahangir, Chairman REAP had meeting with H.E. Consul General of UAE today at his good office. The said meeting was also attended by Mr. Muhammad Jawed Jillani, Senior Vice Chairman REAP, MC Members of REAP, Mr. Sheeraz Ahmed Sheikh, Mr. Mahesh Kumar, Mr. Muhammad Khurram and Mr. Muhammad Shahid Memon. REAP Delegation discussed possibilities to enhance Bilateral Cooperation and expanding Trade and Investment Opportunities and to emphasize the importance of enhancing rice exports to UAE. Further, REAP Delegation also requested H.E. Consul General to resolve Dubai Visa Issues before Gulf Food Dubai in February, 2025 so that Staff Personnel of REAP Members will also get visa on time for necessary preparations during the event. H.E. Consul General of UAE assured his full cooperation and support to REAP Members for Visas as well as to increase market share of Pakistani Rice in UAE market. In the end, H.E. Consul General of UAE presented Shield to Malik Faisal Jahangir and REAP Delegation presented Shield and Souvenirs to H.E. Consul General for his continuous support to REAP Member.
