27/08/2024: On invitation of Mr. Chela Ram Kewlani, Chairman REAP delegation of Sindh Balochistan Rice Millers & Traders Association (SBRMTA) and Lower Sindh Rice Millers Association (LSRMA) led by Mr. Farooque Ahmed Chhipa, President LSRMA and Mr. Asad Ali Tunio, General Secretary SBRMTA visited REAP House, Karachi today. The said meeting was attended by MC Members, Ex-Chairmen REAP, Leading Rice Exporters & Leading Rice Millers from Sindh and Balochistan Province. During the meeting various issues being faced by stakeholders of rice export trade has been discussed including Moisture, Chalky, Allowance on Broken %age and Packing to improve the quality of rice. Both the Millers and Exporters agreed to work together in larger interest of rice trade, which will be beneficial for the country’s economy as well. Mr. Chela Ram Kewlani, Chairman REAP and other REAP Members presented REAP’s Shields and Souvenirs to honorable guests.
