10/08/2024: An exclusive celebration marking a significant milestone in the rice export industry: QUADRA LEGACY - THE ACHIEVEMENT OF $4 BILLION IN EXPORT REVENUE, first time in the history of Pakistan. The event was held yesterday 9thAugust, 2024 at the historic Mohatta Palace, a venue that epitomizes elegance and grandeur. This prestigious gathering brought together over 900 foreign buyers including industry leaders, Ambassadors, Government Officials, Consul Generals, Diplomats, elite business community of Pakistan and key stakeholders from around the world. Mr. Zubair Motiwala, Chief Executive TDAP highly appreciated the role of REAP for achieving historic $4 Billion in rice exports history. He urged to set a higher target in future and also assured his full support to resolve the issue and problems of rice exporters. Mr. Chela Ram Kewlani, Chairman REAP congratulated All REAP Members for their untiring efforts to fetch more and more much needed Foreign Exchange for our country. He expressed his hope that with the full support of TDAP, Ministry of Commerce & Government of Pakistan, we will be able to achieve more than $6 Billion. Biryani Festival was also organized by REAP, more than 16 mouthwatering dishes including 8 types of Biryani were served to honorable guests, foreign delegates also enjoyed traditional dishes and musical performances. The event was concluded with Musical performance by Khumarians Band as well as Ustad Shafqat Amanat Ali.
